Kilauea Volcano Discovery Hike -                Hawaiian Walkways

Hike into Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park where we are immersed in fantastic terrain, the microclimates, dynamic geology and flora of Kilauea volcano, unique in all the world.*

Huge craters, steaming vents and flowing lava are among the possibilities here on the youngest and most active of the island's five volcanoes. Routes here range from an easy "sampler" to a hard-core 14-mile adventure.

For cancellations more than 48 hours before the adventure, there is no charge. If the cancellation comes between 48 and 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure, we charge a $25 handling fee. With 24 hours notice or less, the full charge is levied for cancellations.

Saddle Road Explorations - Hawaiian Walkways

Easy walks or moderately strenuous hikes are available in this special area, the road to which is closed to most rental cars. The "saddle" between two giant volcanoes, Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa, features a range of terrain including historic-era lava flows pocketed with ancient forests, which are home to numerous native birds. Hikers love these areas and they have special attractions for birders and photographers. Supplied and equipped as are our other adventures.
